WELCOME TO VRC
VEX Robotics Competition Tipping Point is played on a 12’x12’ square field. Two Alliances – one “red” and one “blue” – composed of two Teams each, compete in matches consisting of a fifteen second Autonomous Period, followed by a one minute and forty-five second Driver Controlled Period. The object of the game is to attain a higher score than the opposing Alliance by Scoring Rings, moving Mobile Goals to Alliance Zones, and by Elevating on Platforms at the end of a Match.
With the VEX Robotics Competition Change Up season all done and dusted, we put all our focus to this season’s game, Tipping Point. Read on to learn about what our team has done to ensure this season is more successful than ever.
The 2021 VRC World Championship was a great way to end off the season. Middle school team 839Z scored a combined point of 198 in the second (Venus) division, taking home division skills champion as well as Think Award. High school team 839A was placed in the strong first (Mercury) division, but unfortunately due to autonomous run issues only scored 198 points. Overall, the team had a lot of fun preparing and attending remote VEX Worlds!
Results: 839Z Rank: #1 839A Rank: #36 Division Skills Champion Think Award
